Security

The Security Settings page provides options to strengthen your account security by enabling multi-factor authentication (MFA) and updating your password.

1. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Multi-Factor Authentication adds an extra layer of security by requiring users to verify their identity using a second device.

  • MFA Toggle: Activate or deactivate MFA using the toggle switch.
  • Indicators:
    • Multi-Factor Authentication: Displays whether MFA is currently enabled or disabled.
    • Identity Verification: Indicates if your identity has been successfully verified.

How to Enable MFA

  1. Turn on the MFA toggle.
  2. Complete the verification process as instructed on-screen using your mobile device.

It is highly recommended to enable MFA for stronger protection.

2. Advanced Security

This section allows users to update their account password.

  • Change Password:
    • Click Change to initiate the update.
    • Enter your current password, then provide a new secure password.

Best Practices

  • Enable MFA for robust security.
  • Use strong, unique passwords and update them regularly.
