Cloud Source
The Cloud Source tab in Gesund.ai’s Data Hub allows you to connect external S3 buckets and browse their contents directly inside the platform. From there, you can launch data imports into organized datasets.
1. Viewing Linked Cloud Sources
Go to Data Hub > Cloud Source
to see a list of all connected cloud buckets.
Each cloud source entry shows:
- Name of the source
- Bucket name and Region
- Path prefix (default folder inside the bucket)
- Access level:
public
orprivate
- Target / Default marker
- Date added
To add a new bucket:
- Click
New Cloud Source
. - Fill in bucket credentials and configuration.
- Save the connection.
2. Importing Data from a Cloud Bucket
After connecting a bucket:
- Click to expand its folder structure.
- Navigate to the desired folder.
- Click
Start Data Import
.
You’ll be prompted to fill out:

Source Type | Set automatically to Cloud |
Cloud Source | Choose the connected bucket |
Path | Folder path within the bucket |
Move Files | Move or copy the files during import |
Tags | Add searchable tags to the resulting dataset |
Extension Filter | Restrict import to specific formats (e.g., .dcm ) |
Access | Set dataset visibility: Public or Private |
Click Import to begin.
3. After Import
- The new dataset appears in the Datasets tab.
- You can monitor import progress under the History tab.
- Use the Explorer tab to review and organize imported files.
Connecting cloud buckets via the Cloud Source module is the fastest way to populate Gesund.ai with real-world imaging data — all while keeping your workflow centralized and efficient.
